a little about me...
Hello & Thanks for checking out my page! My name is Priscilla Leggett and photography is one of my favorite hobbies. I am a mother of two sets of twins, a retired Navy wife, Girl Scout Leader, and currently studying Nursing at Dyersburg State Community College, you are never too old to learn, right? I never dreamed I would expand my hobby and be taking my photography to new heights and getting paid to do so. Photography is something I have always done as long as I can remember. As a child, I was constantly snapping pictures. Eventually, I entered several competitions and although I was shooting with a Kodak 110 film camera, I managed to attain several awards. As I became an adult, and mother to two sets of twins my desire to capture the fleeting moments of my children increased. Film processing became a very expensive hobby, so when digital photography came about I was ecstatic. After several camera upgrades and purchasing a DLSR camera, and just before my husband retired from the military, my friend begged me to start taking pictures professionally. She seen my talent and encouraged me to take the steps I always wanted. I finally decided to "officially" start my business and started taking on clients. My passion quickly grew and I learned that capturing my clients style and personality or that of their family or event is what my desired job is all about. I am self taught, and strive to do my best when capturing events and family memories.
I have captured a few weddings, and other occasions and cherish them all, however my favorites are Family, Seniors, and children. My fees are low, it is not my desire to make big bucks, but to cover my costs of equipment and travel to further my opportunity to capture smiles....my hobby.
Seeing my clients smile, and laugh makes my heart smile. It is my hope that eventually I can combine my photography and my future nursing career to preserve family moments that will last forever. My heart desires to serve and comfort others. I never realized how important capturing memories was until I lost my step-father when my children were very little. I realized how few pictures I had of him and I. I cherish what few I have and encourage others to preserve those opportunities. My promise to you, is to treat each client as if they were part of my family. I love my job and want my love to reflect in my work so that you, the client, will have memories that last a lifetime. If you feel I can be of service to you, please feel free to contact me below -OR- send me a message on Facebook to schedule a consultation.
